Offshore Fishing

Too Lethal Charters

Offshore Fishing is when you’re more than 9 miles from the shoreline. You’ll find more blackfin, sailfish, dolphin, wahoo and tuna out here. It takes longer to get there, but it’s also where you’ll typically catch the biggest fish.

Offshore fishing is more athletic than inshore. When you do catch a fish, it tends to be bigger and takes longer to bring in. If you’re looking for a trophy fish, this may be the best option for you.

Because of the longer travel times, offshore fishing charters are better if you’re booking a full day.

On every trip you’ll be expected to join in. From baiting the hooks to steering the boat, when you’re on a smaller charter you’re always in the middle of the action.

The most likely fish you will find while fishing offshore include:

African Pompano, Amber Jack, Banded Rudderfish, Barracuda, Black Fin Tuna, Cobia, Grey Snapper, Grouper, Jack Crevale, Kingfish, Lane Snapper, Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Marlin, Spear Fish, Wahoo, and White Marlin.

Wind and weather dictate which areas are going to provide the best opportunities. Let me know what you’re trying to catch, and I’ll do my best to make it happen.
